Walkerthon final tally: $41,062, a new high score

We set a really ambitious goal for Walkerthon this year, and our community beat it. The final tally is in: $41,062, a new Walkerthon high score. And we still have company matches and a few more donations coming in.

2026 William Walker Walkerthon: $41,062. Thank you to our community.

Walkerthon supports everything the PTC does this year, including Field Day, Trunk or Treat, Art Literacy, Mystery Science, Reading Week, teacher grants, and field trips. Come to the next PTC meeting on Wednesday, October 7 at 5:45 p.m. to vote on the proposed budget and help decide where this money goes.

Keep the momentum going

  • Check for a company match. Many local employers match donations, including Adidas, Alaska Airlines, Apple, Columbia, Google, Intel, Kaiser, Microsoft, and Nike. A match can double your gift after the fact.
  • Donations are open all year. Give online through Zeffy, or by cash or check to the PTC. All donations are tax deductible, and our tax ID is 26-3542951.
  • Join the fundraising committee. Email us to help continue the work.
  • Shop at Washington Square. Every receipt you upload earns points for William Walker through School Cents, and six stores are double points in October. Here is how it works.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Because we are so appreciative of the support, we are going to say it again.

Thank you to all of our donors. We are so excited to have come this far.

Thank you to Mr. Powers, Mr. Lorenz, and all of our amazing William Walker staff. We would never be able to hold an event like this, or have this wonderful community, without you.

Thank you to our Wildcats. You are all to be commended for your hard work, both at Walkerthon and beyond. Class parties and raffle prizes are coming soon.

A massive thank you to our 53 volunteers, and to all of the grown-ups, community members, and siblings who came out to cheer on our Walker students.

And finally, a special thank you to our amazing sponsors. We appreciate every single business that gave to our school, and we will be adding them to our website and more. We would especially like to thank our highest sponsors:

Please thank them too, the next time you are in. You can see all of our Walkerthon sponsors on the Walkerthon page.
