Next Tuesday, skip cooking. McMenamins Cedar Hills is hosting a Friends & Family Night benefiting William Walker Elementary on Tuesday, October 13, from 5 p.m. to close, and 50% of all dine-in sales go to the school. That is half of every bill, all evening, from every table in the pub.

The details
- 🗓️ When: Tuesday, October 13, 5 p.m. until close. McMenamins Cedar Hills is open until 11 p.m. on Tuesdays.
- 📍 Where: McMenamins Cedar Hills, 2885 SW Cedar Hills Blvd, Beaverton. Get directions.
- 🍽️ Dine in. The 50% applies to dine-in sales, so grab a table rather than ordering to go.
- 👋 Nothing to bring. You do not need a flyer or a code. The whole evening counts.
Kids are welcome, there is a kids menu, and the full menu is on the McMenamins Cedar Hills page. Bringing a bigger group? They take reservations by phone at (503) 641-0151.
Half is a lot
Most restaurant fundraisers give back 10 to 20 percent. McMenamins is giving back half, which means a family dinner that costs you $60 sends $30 to William Walker. That money goes straight into this year's PTC programs, from Art Literacy to field trips to teacher grants.
- Bring the whole crew. Grandparents, neighbors, coworkers, and your kid's whole soccer team all count. Every table in the pub does.
- Make it a class night. Text a few families from your classroom and claim a corner.
- Go early if you can. Tuesday at 5 p.m. is quieter than 6:30. If there is a wait, hang in there, since it all counts until close.
Thank you to McMenamins Cedar Hills for hosting us. Please tell your server thanks while you are there.
