Volunteer
Lend a hand at William Walker.
Classrooms, field trips, and PTC events all run on family volunteers. The Beaverton School District approves every volunteer first, so apply now and you'll be ready when you're needed. After that, signing up for a shift takes a minute.
How It Works
Four steps, and the first three are one-time.
Review the training
The district asks every volunteer to read its short mandatory training before applying.

Fill out the district's volunteer application in Raptor. It includes an Oregon background check, which can take up to 10 business days and can't be rushed. Use an email address that is yours alone.
Volunteer applicationGet approved
Watch for an approval email from Raptor (raptortech.com), and check your spam folder. Approval is good for two years, then you apply again.

Bring your photo ID.
Check in at the front office with a government-issued photo ID (a driver's license, state ID, passport, or consular ID). The office scans it and prints your name badge.
